My Tot Clock Gets Your Kids On Track (Giveaway)

*Disclosure: I was provided complimentary samples in order to facilitate my review. These are my opinions and yours may differ*

My daughter has no idea what time is or how to tell what time it is. She wakes when she wants and sleeps when she wants. At her age I think it is a great idea to start teaching her to have more of a sense of time.  My Tot Clock is a great tool for young kids. My daughter is so excited that she now has her own clock.

My Tot Clock is a clock that has a changeable face plate (can purchase others), displays different colors, has an alarm, and many functions. The clock can be used for timeouts, wake up, and even encouragement. There are 5 colors as you can see on the box.

  • Yellow (looks more orange to me)- Wake time
  • Red- Timeout
  • Light Blue- Nap time (what's that??)
  • Blue- Bed time
  • Green- Encouragement time
My daughter knows some colors so the clock is easy for us to use. It even came with a cartridge that goes in the back. This cartridge contains bed time music and stories and wake up music. The wake up song is if you're happy and you know it. It is my one of my daughters' favorite songs.  You are able to purchase other cartridges as well.

The clock fits perfectly on my daughters' dresser and is not bulky or overly sized. Parents will be getting the sleep they need when using My Tot Clock. You set the alarm on it and tell your child that they are not able to get out of bed until the clock is yellow and the wake up song is played. You could leave the alarm off and just let them know that yellow means its okay to be awake and out of bed. You can even change wake up time for weekends. The clock does have an analog display so children who can read and are a little older will be able to tell time on it. This clock will be used in our house for a very long time.

You can even set a time for time outs. We do a minute per year in age at our house. 3 minutes in time out is a long time and my daughter can't usually tell when she can get up. The clock turns red for time outs and when it is over it goes back to normal. I am so excited that one of my readers will get the chance to try this clock out too! 1. We have this clock and I would recommend it to anyone. Good luck to those entering.

  2. It takes my kids anywhere from 2-3 hours a night to get to sleep. The younger ones are the worse at sleeping,. I have terrible sleep issues myself and sometimes takes me 4 hours to just get to sleep, hoping I won't wake up an hour later

  3. My second daughter had to eat every 45 minutes for the first 3 months. I was a walking zombie for 12 weeks,

  4. I have had insomnia, two different types that even sometimes overlap since I was a child. IN 5th grade I would stay up all night and watch tv shows like Dobie Gillis, Donna Reed, and Patty Duke. To this day I still cannot seem to go more than 2 weeks without some type of insomnia interrupting my sleep.

  5. Oh, I believe this is the clock one of my friends was telling me about a few weeks ago. She has one and uses it for wake up time with her daughter. This will be great for my 4 year old to help her know when she should be out of bed and time out, too. She often asks, "is it time to get up now"? Poor girl! Thanks for the giveaway! Happy to be co-hosting Home Matters Linky party with you!

  6. As a working single Mom of 3, I don't even know what sleep is anymore... ;) but I wouldn't change the midnight bathroom and water calls for anything :) Nicole Bowers
