Purex Crystals Dryer Sheets Review/Giveaway

*Disclosure: The Purex brand provided me with a sample of Purex Crystals Dryer Sheets in exchange for a product review. However, all the opinions expressed here are my own.*

I was sent the new Purex Crystals dryer sheets to try out and love them! I have been in love with Purex Crystals since they came out. These take laundry to a whole new level. I was sent fresh water springs scent. They also come in lavender blossom. I have been using these fabric softner sheets since they were sent to me about a week or so ago. I am keeping them in out laundry room but the fresh smell seeps out when the door is open. The whole apartment smells great!

I love when dryer sheets do their jobs. These have been able to reduce static cling and even repel lint. Our clothes are smelling fresh and clean for a longer period of time too. The ones I was using before only lasted a few day but I tested these and washed a shirt I do not wear a lot. It has sat in the closet for a week and still smells like I just washed it. That is so awesome! I also put a dryer sheet in each closet of our apartment just to freshen it up a little more. These are the best fabric softner sheets I have ever used!

If you would like to learn more about them please visit Purex Crystals Dryer Sheets online. You can also enter below to win 2 coupons for free boxes. Good luck!!

Right now Purex is doing a giveaway for $500 or 1 of 50 free boxes of Purex Crystals Dryer Sheets! You can go enter here to try your luck.

Fave Juice Review

*Disclosure: I was provided complimentary product in exchange for my honest review. These are my opinions and experiences and yours may differ.*

My daughter loves juice but I only let her drink ones that I approve of. Fave Juice is definitely one that I approve of. It is 100% juice. I was sent three flavors for us to try.

  1. Strawberry-banana Kiwi
  2. Pomegranate Blueberry Goji
  3. Orange Tangerine Pineapple
The Strawberry-banana Kiwi was gone really fast so I was not able to get a pic of it. It was very yummy and was Christine's favorite. I was sent three 46 ounce bottles. One of each flavor that they offer.

As I said earlier each bottle is 100% juice. Each one also has 3 full servings of fruits and vegetables per serving. Best part is only 60 calories per serving too! Fave stands for fruits and vegetables. They are not loaded with sugar and are actually no sugar added. The sweetness comes from the fruits. All of them tasted great too. Fave juices make a great drink for Christine during snack time. She is not allowed juice any other time. She really enjoyed these though.
If you would like to learn more about the juice please visit Fave Juice online. You can also find out where to purchase it on that link.

*Disclosure: I was provided complimentary product in exchange for my honest review. These are my opinions and experiences and yours may differ.*

I am a salsa lover so I was excited to get to try Naked Infusions Salsa. This company makes salsa with fresh organic ingredients and they come in different flavors.

It come in:
  1. Low Salt Ripe Tomato
  2. Signature Ripe Tomato
  3. Signature Ripe Tomato Extra Hot
  4. California Burnt Sage
  5. Fire Roasted Garlic
  6. Oaxaca White Chocolate
  7. Rustic Blue Cheese
  8. Black Silk Espresso (Yes you see espresso, so yummy!)

My favorite was the rustic blue cheese. I really liked all of them though. They are bold and flavorful salsas that go good in anything.

I really loved it on my eggs in the morning. It made them so yummy! I also added it with any rice dishes I ate and anything else that needed a little pep. I really like that most of the salsas are medium heat. I can do the extra hot but not a lot of it. These salsas are great and I highly recommend them! If you want to learn more about the company or where to purchase please visit Naked Infusions Online.

Fruit Shoot Review

*Disclosure: I was provided complimentary product in exchange for my honest review. These are my opinions and experiences and yours may differ.*

We are big juice drinkers in my house but we are picky about which juices we drink. Fruit Shoot is a company that was founded in the United Kingdom. It has been in the United States since 2008 and I am so happy they are here! They have been producing their drink here since 2012. You are probably thinking drinks? What drinks? Fruit Shoot makes juice drinks that children will love. They come in no sugar added and regular. We tried the no sugar added ones and my daughter loves them.

The no sugar added juices come in four flavors:
  1. Berry Burst
  2. Apple
  3. Strawberry Raspberry
  4. Orange
The regular drinks do no include apple but do offer the other flavors.

Summer is coming and kids love popsicles so why not use your Fruit Shoot juice to make them?

What you need:
  1. Kid's favorite flavor of Fruit Shoot juice
  2. Popsicle molds
  3. Popsicle sticks

Instructions to make:
  1. Pour Fruit Shoot into mold and slide popsicle sticks in
  2. Place in freezer for 2-3 hours (overnight will work best)
  3. Serve 'em up and enjoy
We have not gotten to make the popsicles yet but we are definitely going to do so! If you would like to learn more about the company or find out how to purchase please visit Fruit Shoot USA Online.

Rokit Fuel Review

*Disclosure: I was provided complimentary product in exchange for my honest review. These are my opinions and experiences and yours may differ.*

I am eating healthier and starting to lose some weight. I was happy when I found Rokit Fuel. They make nutritious snacks and cereals. I was sent some Nutribites and Super Cereal. The Nutribites come in the package in the picture above. They come in cherry bomb, peanut butter, mom's apple pie, mint trufle, and pina colada. My favorite flavors were mom's apple pie and cherry bomb.

Below is a picture of what the Nutribites look like. They are little bite sized balls and are chewy and yummy. The Rokit Fuel products are all natural, gluten free, GMO free, vegan, and kosher. They are not high in sugar either. That is very important to me.

Now on to the Super Cereal. It comes in cherry almond, mom's apple pie, p.b. brownie, and stud muffin. I loved all of the cereals! Above you can see what it looks like dry and below is what it looks like cooked.

I ate the cereal cooked and I also added it to my shakes. It is so tasty. Both of the products made great snacks or breakfasts. They are made with whole foods so they are nutritious and good for you. I definitely will be getting more soon. If you would like to learn more about the company or to purchase some you can go to rokitfuel.com

My Review Of Book:
I absolutely love how well the characters come together in this book. It brings my imagination to life and kept me reading. I love the details and how well Travis Simmons told the first story in the series. I am left wanting more and can not wait to get into the rest of the books in the series. This book is for anyone who likes a vivid tale with strong characters.

About the Author
Travis has been writing since he was 14.  He began writing a book called "The Calling of the Two" and while writing that on and off he started uncovering another idea.

"Yes, this is all well and good, but what about before? What happened in the world before these characters came into it?" He always knew there was a "before" and as he started wondering about it he got ideas. At first they were little ideas but as he discovered the names for his characters a whole story about them emerged.
Travis started working on The Revenant Wyrd Saga several years back and he is very happy he did because hearing and documenting Jovian and Angelica's story has been one wild ride for him.  He has also written the Infernal Design series.

He lives in a small town at the base of the Adirondack Mountains and hoofing around my neck of the woods gives him a ton of inspiration for his novels.   He loves research, and speculating on different ideas and theories.

Munch of Fun Review

*Disclosure: I was provided complimentary product in exchange for my honest review. These are my opinions and experiences and yours may differ.*

I am lucky enough that I got to try two boxes of  Munch Of Fun. Munch Of Fun is a company that provides boxes that are packed like a lunch, breakfast, or snack. I chose two lunch ones so my daughter and I could eat together.

My daughter ate the one with chicken salad in it. It came with popcorn, juice, almonds, and a peanut butter bar. Her favorite part was the little slinky prize! I thought it was awesome that the boxes have prizes. My kid loves her prize but knows she has to eat before she gets it. Of course she was not able to eat everything in here but she did enjoy the chicken.

My box had tuna salad in it (yummy!). It came with a juice, rice chips, sunflower seeds, oats and dark chocolate granola bar, and of course my prize (hehe). I really love that the boxes even had floss, wipes, and napkins in them. Oh and the salads had a spoon too! I would feel comfortable sending this whole set up to a school lunch for my daughter.

These boxes do not need to be refrigerated and are low in sugar. The juices are Fruitables and are low in sugar and actual fruit/veggie juice. You can order a two pack of boxes for around $8/box. That is not bad for everything that comes in one box!

If you would like to check out what other boxes are offered please visit Munch Of Fun. You can also check them out on Facebook and Twitter.

Purex No Sort For Colors Laundry Detergent Review/Giveaway

*Disclosure: I am a Purex Insider and was provided complimentary product in exchange for my honest review. These are my opinions only and yours may differ.*

With as much laundry as I do I am happy they came out with this. I am always sorting colors and darks to make sure nothing fades or bleeds onto another garment. With the new Purex No Sort I do not have to worry about bleeding.  This new detergent has and anti-color transfer technology. This helps colors from bleeding on to other garments in your laundry while washing. I can finally stop sorting laundry and throw it all in now. It is recommended that darker items be washed at least five times before not sorting them out.

I am weird and do not like showing off my dirty laundry so I just provided you with the picture above. I was sent the 27 load bottle and am still using it. I have done about 10 loads with it already though and am loving it. If you would like to learn more or fins out where to purchase please visit Purex Online. You can also enter my giveaway below. Kiss My Face 4 in 1 Moisture Shave Review

*Disclosure: I was provided complimentary product in exchange for my honest review. These opinions are my own and yours may be different.*

Before I get into my review I would like to tell you a little more about the company Kiss My Face. It was founded 30 years ago on a farm in Hudson River Valley in New York. They make natural and cruelty free bath products. Their products include deodorants, foot scrubs, mouth care, soaps, kids products, and even sun care.

I was given the chance to try out their Moisture Shave. I was sent fragrance free and cool mint. I really love the cool mint because the scent was refreshing and invigorating. This shave cream is a 4 in 1. It has vitamin E and natural oils to soften your skin. Then there is the formula which is creme and provides a close smooth shave. Next you have golden seal, aloe, and lemon grass to soothe your skin. Lastly olive and coconut oils moisturize your skin.

I found that the formula lathered up well but was more like a lotion. This did make the shave closer and much smoother than other products out there. I really love that this is not an aerosol and works just as well. My legs are much more moisturized after using this on them.

The Moisture Shave comes in many scents:

  • Fragrance Free
  • Key Lime
  • Cool Mint
  • Lavender and Shea
  • Green Tea and Bamboo
  • Patchouli Moisture

You can purchase it at Whole Foods and Kiss My Face Online for $7.95 (11 oz.) and $4.99 (3.4 oz.).

Life With a 2 year old (Long overdue update)

This is a long overdue update on life and on my little lady. She turned 2 on January 17 and is a handful! She is still nursing and co-sleeping. I am done with nursing and wish she was too. I really want her to wean on her own though. The co-sleeping is not as big of a problem but we hope to get her in her own room soon.

We tried potty training for a week and decided that she just is not ready yet. We will try again in a few months. She talks a lot and is very smart. She loves to color and play outside. She has a little bike that she is learning to pedal and she loves it. She is a happy healthy little lady.

Now on to me. I am working on losing weight so I did the 21 day fix through Beach Body. I love it! I lost 6 pounds and am still doing the fix. The workouts are a mix of cardio and weights. They are fun too. I have changed how I eat as well. I am eating more clean now and less processed foods. I feel much better and have more energy. I am still in school and am finally in my Health Information Technology program! It is funner now that I am studying what I actually want to do.

We are doing great!  If anyone has potty training tips I would love to hear them.

Ultimate Blog Party 2014 Is Here!

       Ultimate Blog Party 2014

This is my first year participating in The Ultimate Blog Party and I am very excited. I  love to hop around and find new blogs.

Welcome to First Time Mommy Adventures all the new visitors! I am Angela and have been blogging for about two years. I decided to start my blog when my daughter was born. At first it was just to update out of state family on her but it grew into a review/giveaway blog. I really enjoy getting products that fit into my lifestyle and letting others know about them.

I am married to a wonderful man named Elton. We have been married a year but together for almost 8! I can't believe it has been that long. We have one little girl who is 2. We live in Colorado, I grew up here and he grew up in Memphis.
I am also a student right now so it is hard to give my blog the love that it needs.

Again welcome and please look around!

The Story of Jesus Kids Book Review/Giveaway

*Disclosure: I am a Tommy Nelson Mommy and was provided complimentary books to facilitate my review. These are my experiences and opinions yours may differ.*

In our house we love these little board books with the carry around handles. The Story of Jesus is written by Fiona Boon and illustrated by Lara Ede. It makes a great addition to out little collection. These books are very sturdy and can take Christine's beatings. She tries to be gentle but when she is bored she thinks it is ok to walk on the books.
The Story of Jesus tells your kids about Jesus from his birth to resurrection. I love that it goes into Jesus being baptized, feeding the multitudes, and even performing miracles. A lot of kids books do not touch on some of these but this one does a great job of incorporating Jesus's whole life. It has some really cute illustrations as well. We really liked this book. You can learn more or purchase it at The Story of Jesus or you can enter below to win a copy. Good luck!
