Alone Yet Not Alone Book Review/Giveaway Ends 9/8/13

Alone Yet Not Alone is a historical book based on real events. The Leininger family lives in the Blue Mountains of Pennsylvania during the beginning of the French Indian war. The family is blessed with a beautiful homestead and a bountiful harvest. The lives of the family are changed when the Indians decide they want their land back. The two younger girls Barbara and Regina are taken off by Indians. The only thing that keeps them going is their faith in God and their promise to each other to never leave one another's side. They long to be reunited with the rest of their family and cling to hope that they are alive. 

I really enjoyed this book. I love historical books because they bring a bit of knowledge to the book. I love when a great book is turned into a movie and the is exactly what is happening with this book! It will be in theaters on September 27. You can find a theater here: Seatzy

I think the book and movie are great for teens and adults alike. It will teach kids to not give up hope and to hold on to what they believe. You can watch the movie trailer below:
